The 10th edition of the annual code::XtremeApps:: (CXA) hackathon is here again. This year, the Early Coders team is proud to be the chosen vendors to teach the Junior category an introduction to Scratch before they start the competition.
The response for the Junior category was overwhelming this year resulting in the Early Coders team having to teach 3 different sessions on different dates.
Jointly organised by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and the IT Standards Committee (ITSC), and supported by SPRING Singapore, CXA is aimed at creating greater awareness and inspiring use and value of programming and standards, as well as fostering collaboration with and within the programming community.
CXA 2016’s theme will be focused around financial technologies (“FinTech”). FinTech is a growing area of interest, with new solutions seeing rapid takeup such as FAST (Fast And Secure Transfer), the blockchain, peer banking, and more.
